DENTAL VENEERS ALPHARETTA
What Are Dental Veneers?
Veneers are custom-designed incredibly thin shells bearing resemblance to natural teeth that are mindfully and creatively put together by your dentist and constructed in a dental lab. The veneers are then fused around your own teeth and can perform a number of purposes, the most common including straightening, whitening and lengthening. The key goal of having veneers applied is to offer you a fantastic smile! This solution is the most ideal technique we utilize today to furnish our patients with the finest smile feasible. We have an artistic eye and works with gifted ceramists. Jointly, our results are attractive, yet natural.
Veneers Are Not the Same as Bonding
How do you recognize if dental bonding or veneers are the best choice? The brief answer is that bonding is typically recommended for more small-scale tooth adjustments. Nonetheless, if you have teeth that are greatly tarnished or have sustained heavy wear and tear, then veneers may be a preferable selection for you. In addition, veneers are a suggested choice for other large issues like cracked teeth, considerable gaps in your teeth, or even variations in the size and shape of your teeth. Because veneers are custom-made for each patient, they look a lot more like your natural teeth. Also, you don’t have to worry about them becoming discolored over time, as they are designed to be stain-resistant to the effects of coffee or wine drinking.
It takes two to three appointments with your dentist to fully carry out the dental veneer process. First, we suggest a consultative appointment in which you sit down with your doctor to discuss the method. At this visit, we like to provide you with the opportunity to ask any questions you may have so that you fully are aware of the process. During the consultation, we will also establish the best treatment plan modified to you and your schedule.
At the second visit, we begin the real physical work of your veneers. At this point, your teeth are shaved down in preparation for application, and a temporary veneer is placed on top of your teeth. These will function as a placeholder until your permanent veneers are produced in a lab by our trusted ceramists and sent back to our office.
On your third and last visit, your temporaries are then switched out with your long-term, custom-made veneers.
